This is to let y'all know that the Mahatma & Co.'s newly beloved As Is Brass Band will be making a couple East Bay appearances this week!
First: on Thursday the 24th we will be playing at
Van Kleef's , the new oft-mentioned favorite slosh trough in downtown Oakland located at 17th and Telegraph right in the heart of it! Show starts at 9:30ish with the one-man banjo stylings of our dear friend Dr. Leopold. As Is follows.
Then, Saturday the 26th the As Is BB (as well as the Mahatma's alter ego, Wink Pain, and a slew of others) will play as part of the extravagant Extra Action Marching Band Mission to Serbia Benefit in West Oakland. Info for that is
